The Water - Small Works 2017 national juried charitable exhibition opens on Small Business Saturday, November 25 from 6-8pm. The juror, architect, gallerist, and planner, Glynis Berry has selected 35 artists with 55 photographic works about water in all forms - representational and abstract, how precious, powerful, beautiful, or messy it can be. All works are affordably framed 12" or smaller for perfectly sized gifts of original art for the Holidays. Ten percent of sales proceeds will benefit Hurricane Harvey relief. 11 – 5pm Details.

  • Peconic Landing: Captured LIVE in HD! Bolshoi Ballet & BY Experience present: Le, Greenport. Amidst a bustling Turkish market, the pirate Conrad falls in love at first sight with beautiful Medora, the ward of the slave merchant Lankedem’s bazaar. Conrad kidnaps Medora when Lankedem decides to sell her to the Pasha. Inspired by Lord Byron’s epic poem and reworked by Alexei Ratmansky from Petipa’s exotic 19th-century classic, this miracle of the repertoire is one of the Bolshoi’s most lavish productions. Complete with a magnificent awe-inspiring shipwreck and dramatic scenery, this grand romance allows enough dancing for nearly the entire company and is made especially for those who seek miracles in theatre. 3 – 6 pm.   • William Ris Gallery: Sherri Wolfgang's "Nick-E-Lo-De-An," Jamesport. Sherri Wolfgang's newest series was inspired by the earliest movies which were short, flickering images creating the illusion of motion. As in the first theaters to show these films more than a century ago, Nick.e.lo.de.on captures individual “frames” of a dancer in motion. The spotlight flickers on and off…and with the contrast of shadow and light recaptures the wonders of the human body and expression. Meet Nick, the dancer/model, inspiring this series. 11-5 pm.
