Sunday enjoy the view and food while doing some Pop Up Shopping at the Soundview Inn, or take a Fall Foliage Cruise with Peconic Cruiselines.

  • Harbes Farm & Orchard: Spooky Corn Maze Riverhead. By day Harbes Orchard is a tranquil farm but at night it transforms into the spookiest place on the North Fork. Every Friday & Saturday nights Harbes Orchard’s Spooky Corn Maze beckons you into an eerie world of spine-tingling thrills and suspense. You'll have a spooky good time encountering our devilish ensemble of costumed characters as you navigate your escape from the corn maze! 7-10 pm. Details.
  • Moustache Brewery: Nature Talk: Beneath the Waves - History of Long Island Seagrass Riverhead. We are stoked to host The Nature Talks, a special series of talks held at the brewery in collaboration with Christopher Paparo of Fish Guy Photos. On select Thursdays and Fridays, you're invited to learn more about our underwater habitats, ecosystem, Long Island after Sandy and more. Maple Tree BBQ Smokehouse Dine-in/Take-out and Catering Service will be in the house during the talks. The talk will start approximately at sunset, forecasted around 6:00pm. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on, as well as some bug spray. Join us on October 20th for "Animal Training 101" with Candy Paparo. Learn the basics of animal training with special appearance by Bullet the Wonder Dog. 6-8 pm. Details.
  • Little Creek Oysters: Friday Night Bites- Oysters and Pintxos at Little Creek Greenport. Starting at 7pm on Friday we'll spread the counter with a dizzying spread of skewered small bites, pour crisp cold wines and beers and wash away the week together! Of course our shuckers will be opening the finest our bays have to offer! 7 pm. Details. 
  • Lieb Cellars: Friday Night Music Series Cutchogue. Please join us for our annual Friday Night Music Series featuring Points East from 6-9pm. Details.

  • Greenport Harbor Brewing Company: The Greenport Horror Brewing Co Halloween Party, Peconic. It's that time of the year again. Saturday, October 21st, from 7-11pm we'll have scary brews, and frightful bites at the Peconic tasting room. Live DJ will keep the grooves going, and we'll have a costume contest as well. Last year was our best party yet, and this year's gonna get spookier. Cheers! 7 -11 pm. Details.
  • Herricks Lane Farm: Apothecary Garden Workshop-Ginger, Jamesport. We’ll be showcasing GINGER (Zingiber officinale) next in our Home Apothecary Garden workshop series at Herricks Herbs & Heirlooms Organic Nursery. With its distinctive flavor, culinary ginger root is familiar to all of us in both savory and sweet dishes. But did you know it’s also a potent medicinal herb? Ginger is considered warming and its properties include being anti-inflammatory, anti-nausea, improving circulation, and respiratory decongesting—it’s the perfect herb to explore as we enter fall and winter. 10 am -12 pm. Details.

Walk & learn the growing cycle of the vines and Shinn's sustainable farming practices. Learn the history & philosophy of Shinn winemaking while seeing the unique gravity fed winemaking, native yeast fermentation, and barrel aging technique.   • Sannino Vineyard: Vine to Wine Tour, Peconic. Be a part of the most comprehensive wine tour in the region. Mini viticulture, winemaking techniques and completed by exploring the barrel cellar.   • Peconic Ballet Theatre: Art Barre, Riverhead. Guests enjoy a complimentary glass of wine from Martha Clara Vineyards, while viewing an art exhibition by a notable artist from East Ends Arts. After wine tasting and the gallery viewing, guests find their way to peconic Ballet Theatre intimate performance space to see a collection of work presented by Peconic ballet Theatre's professional dance company. The dancers will perform pieces of work that range from Classical Ballet to Jazz, and Modern. A true collaboration of the finest arts and the East End has to offer. 7:30 – 9:30 pm. Details.
  • Cutchogue New Suffolk Free Library: NoFo Artist Studio Tour Cutchogue. Local artists from the North Fork of Long Island invite you into their studios to view and discuss their artwork. Learn about each artist's process and inspiration. See work in all stages of progress and watch artists do live demonstrations. Included are paintings, photography, pottery, sculpture, prints, and mixed media. You will begin your day at the Cutchogue New Suffolk Free Library to pick up your tour wristband, studio map and tasting vouchers. Tickets are $25.00 per person and allows entry to all studios plus one wine tasting and one beer tasting. 9:30 am – 5 pm Details.
  • Oysterponds Historical Society: Artisans and Makers ShowcaseOrient. Every Saturday through October browse the wares of artisans who traditional skills celebrate our heritage. Organized by the society and North Fork Gift. 10 am-1 pm. Details.

  • Peconic Landing: Peter Pan, Live Greenport. Captured live at the National Theatre, a recorded performance of JM Barrie’s much-loved tale screens in cinemas. When Peter Pan, leader of the Lost Boys, loses his shadow, headstrong Wendy helps him to reattach it. In return, she is invited to Neverland, where Tinker Bell the fairy, Tiger Lily and the vengeful Captain Hook await. A riot of magic, music and make-believe ensues.   • Alex Ferrone Photography Gallery: Hybrid: Roz Dimon, Colin Goldberg, Han Qin, Cutchogue. Featuring works by regional artists Roz Dimon, Colin Goldberg, and Han Qin - each artist combining digital technology with various artistic disciplines including painting, drawing, photography, and printmaking in their creative processes. An artist working in the forefront of digital art practices since 1984, Roz Dimon has created a multi-layered, interactive painting she calls, a DIMONscape® – a single digitally collaged image composed of numerous photographs and digital drawings that is presented in a lightbox.  On exhibit is the DIMONscape®, Pale Male: A Pilgrimage - a symbolic, spiritual and iconographic work created in response to the September 11 attacks. 12 – 5pm Details.
  • William Ris Gallery: Kindred, Jamesport. Following a busy summer schedule of shows the William Ris Gallery in Jamesport, NY is starting the autumn season with a two woman show titled "Kindred."   • Greenport Harbor Brewing Company: Artist Michele Dragonetti “Against the Current”, Greenport. On Saturday, September 16, 2017, Greenport Harbor Brewing Company will host a reception for the opening of their new exhibition, “Against the Current,” featuring the photography of Michele Dragonetti. Splitting her time between Manhattan and Amagansett, Michele Dragonetti’s photos primarily focus on the hulls of maritime vessels, capturing them from a looming vantage that highlights their symmetry and geometry. 7-9pm.   • Lighthouse & Seal Watching Cruise: Peconic Cruise Lines Greenport. Late-afternoon cruise offers close-up views of Long Beach Bar “Bug” Light and Orient Point Lighthouse (the Coffee Pot). We’ll also visit “The Ruins” on Gardiners Point Island and observe harbor seals in their natural habitat. Details.
