Community Theater, Counting Birds, Live Music: Welcome, 2015!

2015's first Friday starts with an important local tradition: the North Fork Community Theater's 11th Annual Variety Show, which funds scholarships for local high school seniors. For the opening night--the show runs all weekend, though only the one weekend--the evening begins with Waters Crest wine and an art opening. Saturday features a different local tradition: the North Fork Audubon Society's annual 'Christmas' bird count; it's one of the oldest in the nation, and you might even spot a snowy owl, as they live here.

As ever, live music plays at wineries up and down the Fork--more than a dozen shows to choose from.
