North Fork foodie culture is showcased this weekend, with 'Hamptons' restaurant week, a Prohibition Farmers Ball, an educational Sannino wine dinner at Caci, a Macari Wine Dinner at 18 Bay (on Shelter Island) VIP wine and cheese at Jamesport, Barrel Tastings at Diliberto, and fresh pie with wine at Bridge Lane. Musically we're getting a taste of summer too, as some 18 concerts showcase music from jazz and blues to rock to '90s 'alternative' and much more.

Get outdoors to enjoy our dark skies (stargazing!) and get on the water at Strong's Marine's open house.

'Hamptons' Restaurant Week includes three NoFo restaurants; Sannino wine dinner at Caci; Prohibition Farmer's Ball at Hellenic; barrel tastings, tours, more.

Live Music

A dozen and a half concerts include a 90s tribute Friday night at Martha Clara, a guitar virtuoso at Jamesport Meeting house Saturday, and four vineyard concerts Sunday.

Enjoy an author & music event at American Beech; an HD broadcast of the Bolshoi Ballet; talks about wild canines and Long Island as a movie set. Art exhibits too.

  • Wild Canines, Southold Free Library. Speaker Mr. Vincenti is a wildlife enthusiast who wants to share his knowledge of coyotes and other wild dogs. He has been giving presentations for 20 years and is the founder of the Wild Dog Foundation. Mr. Vincenti will speak about Long Island’s former wolf population, the two fox species living here, and the arrival of coyotes.
