Merry Christmas from the North Fork

The North Fork at Christmas is beautiful, and quiet. We more or less shut down on Friday. Saturday we re-open, but mostly for food, drink and music in vineyards, restaurants or bars. If you're lucky enough to be here, enjoy your family, friends and balmy weather--it's been consistently 15-20 degrees warmer than normal. Enough so to keep the plants confused; flowers are still going, crops still growing. So Friday night, belly full and the present frenzy past, make yourself a hot tea, coffee, or hot buttered rum, and have a nice porch sit.
