Rites of Spring II, Sea Something, Slow Fish & Astronomy Day: Savor the North Fork Arts

The Highlights

Friday April 28 - Sunday April 30

The North Fork has a vibrant art scene that satisfies all the senses: sight, sound, scent, taste and touch. The Rites of Spring II, opening at Borghese Sunday at 5, covers many of these, offering an art exhibit, an exquisite piano concert, and wine paired with handcrafted chocolate.  The art exhibit "Sea Something, Save Something" opens the night before, on Saturday, also with live music, wine and snacks, and is very North Fork in that it features local artists and benefits and organization that protects and restores North Fork waters.

Slow Fish, a dinner at Greenport's Noah's on Sunday is Slow Food East End's spotlight dinner and again is quintessentially North Fork: sustainable, local, hand crafted food and wine presented beautiful.

Astronomy Day at Custer Institute is a day full of family fun, from getting weighed on other planets, to enjoying rockets & drones, to solar and star gazing and much more. (Live music too.)
