THANK YOU! SEE YOU AT NEXT YEAR'S TASTE THE NORTH FORK!

Thank you! See you next year!

Unfortunately, Duck Walk and Pindar will not be participating after all.

The Highlights

Friday April 7 - Sunday April 9

Taste the North Fork! It's finally here, and the weather looks great--dry and warm.

Come by train (LIRR), bus (Hampton Jitney) or car, and hop on one of our free shuttle buses to explore the North Fork stress free. We have two separate loops--they overlap at Greenport Harbor Brewing--so you can see the whole North Fork comfortably. We'll give you a souvenir bag with a bus map and other handy items, and a wrist band. Some stops on each route feature special events, so be sure to scan the details below.

Mattituck-Cutchogue Loop

The Mattituck-Cutchogue buses will start running from Mattituck train station around noon--we'll start boarding after the train pulls in around 11:40--and from Love Lane South (a couple blocks away) a half hour later.

In between those two stops is Love Lane (and Pike Street), which features terrific shops and restaurants like Altman's Needlearts, Love Lane Kitchen, and Agora the Little Greek Market. Roanoke Vineyard's tasting room is mid-block too. So if you want to stretch your legs before hopping the bus, start your day with a quick lunch and a Roanoke sip. If you'd like to start riding right away, keep in mind that the Waters Crest Winery and the Coffee Pot Cellars stops in Cutchogue are also near delicious eateries so you can lunch between tastings. On the loop, some stops are smaller tasting rooms--like Bridge Lane--and only 25 people at once will be allowed to stop in.

But a smaller space doesn't mean a smaller experience: Saturday from 1-4 Bridge Lane is featuring a Pop-up shop with The Times Vintage. When you're at Borghese Vineyard, be sure to check out their art gallery.  Sunday, Waters Crest Winery in downtown Cutchogue hosts an art show staged by the Alex Ferrone Gallery; the artists will be there from 3-5 pm to meet you. (At that same stop window shop down town, including at North Fork Natural, and get hand made soaps and other goodies.) Macari Vineyards is giving all bus riders its Vintage tasting for $15 (normally $30) plus 10% off their wine purchase. Coffee Pot Cellars tasting room doubles as a farm stand for Blossom Meadow Farm--lots of small unique items.

Greenport-Southold Loop

The Greenport-Southold loop will get underway around noon from the train station/Jitney Stop in Greenport. Because there are fewer stops on that route, the loops will be fast, and you'll also have lots of time to enjoy Southold and Greenport. On Saturday, at Greenport's train station stop, enjoy live music and explore the East End Seaport Museum, from 1-4 pm, while at Greenport's IGA stop, stop in to First and South and enjoy a pop-up art exhibit and appetizers from 2-5 pm. In between, but nearer to the train/Jitney stop, the Greenporter offers a pop-up Raphael Winery Tasting Room and specialty appetizers.

Also in between are wonderful galleries and shops like Sirens' Song Gallery, Kessie, Aldo's, Burton's Bookstore, Clarke's Garden and Home, Harbor Pet, Sweet Indulgences, Spirited Wine & Liquor, and for you beer lovers, Greenport Harbor Brewery. In Southold, don't miss Touch Goods, and stop into North Fork Taps & Corks, where you can find local wines and brews. In Greenport and Southold, near the stops you can also find a delicious lunch or dinner.

We're looking forward to seeing you!
