Theater, Downton Abbey, Burlesque & Birds: The New Year Begins

Begin 2016 with the 12th Annual Variety Show, a music & dance extravaganza staging three performances only, all this weekend. Saturday, celebrate Sarah (of First & South); she's staging a birthday party involving 35 burlesque dancers, Macari Wine, and a pig roast. Also on Saturday, enjoy the opening of a new art exhibit at the Mattituck-Laurel library; with 23 artists showing, you're sure to find something you'd like. Sunday celebrate the start of Downton Abbey's last season with tea, trivia, costumes & more. Saturday, participate in one of the oldest bird counts in the country, organized by the North Fork Audubon society. Saturday and Sunday, enjoy live music while tasting North Fork wine.
